Green Workplace

Sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain.

Build a livable, safe and orderly office with the 5S method, good area care, and smoke-free respect.

Why it matters

The work environment affects health, safety and productivity. Clean, orderly space reduces accidents, prevents loss of equipment, and creates a better working atmosphere.

5S is not just cleaning — it builds order into space and behaviour. Consistency saves time and organisational resources in the long run, and respecting smoke-free areas protects everyone's health.

Do this today

Read and act immediately — no big programme required.

  • Sort: regularly separate needed and unneeded items in your work area
  • Set in order: arrange things neatly, easy to reach, and label categories
  • Shine: clean areas and equipment on the defined schedule
  • Standardize: keep the tidiness standard as a normal team routine
  • Sustain: keep practising until it becomes a habit and review together
  • Respect smoke-free areas and help maintain good indoor air quality
